Stacy London, widely recognized as the co-host of What Not to Wear, has reemerged in the spotlight with a fresh focus on empowering women through fashion and wellness. After taking a step back from her iconic TV role, London went through significant life changes, including navigating menopause, which deeply influenced her career pivot.

In recent years, London has taken on multiple exciting ventures. First, she became the CEO of State Of, a wellness brand focused on providing personal care products for people experiencing menopause. London didn’t just want to promote a beauty brand; she sought to address the often-overlooked challenges associated with this life stage. She steered the company towards gender inclusivity, aiming to support anyone facing hormonal transitions, from perimenopause to gender-affirming treatments.
Despite having "given up on fashion" during her transition into midlife, London found her way back with a new sense of purpose. In August 2024, she launched her fashion line, By Stacy London, exclusively on QVC. This collection, aimed at women over 50, focuses on comfort, style, and versatility. London’s signature "addables" allow for easy layering, offering mix-and-match options that fit seamlessly into everyday wardrobes. The collection ranges from elegant trench coats to stylish co-ord sets, all at accessible price points.

Her motivation behind the collection is deeply personal. London openly shared that she struggled with body changes and self-esteem issues as she aged. Designing clothes that cater to the comfort and confidence of midlife women became a way for her to rediscover joy and help others do the same.
In addition to her fashion endeavors, London remains an outspoken advocate for embracing midlife challenges head-on, without succumbing to societal pressures around aging. She continues to use her platform to spark conversations about menopause, self-care, and the importance of staying true to one’s evolving identity.
London’s current path showcases her evolution from a stylist focused on external makeovers to a multifaceted entrepreneur and advocate dedicated to internal growth and resilience. Whether through fashion or wellness, her mission remains consistent: to help people, especially those in midlife, feel seen, supported, and stylish.
