Pete Nelson from Treehouse Masters – What’s He Doing Now?

Pete Nelson, the visionary treehouse builder behind Treehouse Masters, is still deeply immersed in his passion for creating unique treehouse experiences even after the show concluded in 2018. His company, Nelson Treehouse & Supply, remains at the forefront of custom treehouse design and construction, with a variety of exciting projects and ventures.

After Treehouse Masters ended, Pete shifted focus to private builds and commercial projects across the U.S. His team has continued to craft stunning treehouses for clients, although some of these projects are kept private to respect their clients’ wishes. Public projects, like the Cannaley Treehouse Village in Toledo, Ohio, reflect Pete’s commitment to making treehouses accessible to more people. This project involved designing a treehouse village while training local builders, a testament to Pete’s collaborative and educational approach.

In addition to these large-scale projects, Pete’s hospitality ventures are thriving. Treehouse Point, his bed-and-breakfast in Washington State, has undergone upgrades and is expanding to include a new wheelchair-accessible treehouse called “Ananda.” Meanwhile, Treehouse Utopia in Texas Hill Country, which Pete co-founded, continues to receive praise from guests. Pete is also working on an ambitious Treehouse Resort and Spa in Washington, a project he’s eager to reveal more about in the future.

Beyond construction, Pete remains active on social media, engaging with the community that formed around Treehouse Masters. His business continues to offer treehouse hardware and design consultation, while his crew tackles both commercial and residential builds.

Pete’s legacy extends beyond the TV show, with ongoing contributions to treehouse design and a dedication to sharing the joy of living among the trees. Whether through large public projects, luxury treehouse resorts, or educational collaborations, Pete Nelson’s work remains rooted in creativity, community, and craftsmanship.
