Pax Jolie-Pitt Injured in Accident: What We Know

In a concerning turn of events, Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was involved in a serious accident on July 29, 2024. The incident, which occurred in the late afternoon, involved Pax riding his electric bike and crashing into a stationary car. This has sparked widespread concern among fans and well-wishers about his condition and recovery.

According to reports from TMZ, Pax was riding his electric bike without a helmet when the crash happened during heavy traffic. Paramedics who arrived at the scene found Pax conscious but took him to the hospital for precautionary treatment and monitoring. The main concern for medical professionals was a potential brain injury, as Pax's lack of a helmet increased the risk of serious head trauma.

Although helmet laws for individuals over 18 vary and aren't always enforced, wearing one is always a recommended safety measure, especially for high-speed electric bikes. Pax has been seen riding around Los Angeles on his bike without a helmet before, though it hasn't been confirmed if he was riding his Talaria Sting R MX4 electric bike during this accident. The Talaria is classified as a moped in many places, which typically requires helmet use on city streets.

As Pax focuses on his recovery, there's also interest in how his siblings are doing. Pax is the second oldest of Angelina and Brad's six children, with his older brother Maddox Jolie-Pitt being the eldest at nearly 23 years old.

Zahara Jolie-Pitt, who is 19, has started college at Spelman College in Atlanta and recently opted to drop the "Pitt" from her name. Eighteen-year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is also in the process of removing her father's last name from her hyphenated surname, though her legal hearing for this change was postponed as of July 29, 2024. The 16-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt, are also navigating changes, with Vivienne recently being credited simply as Vivienne Jolie in a Broadway playbill for "The Outsiders" where she assisted her mother.

There are reports suggesting that Brad Pitt currently has minimal contact with his children, and it remains unclear if he visited Pax following the accident. As the family deals with these challenges, they continue to navigate their personal lives under the public eye.

Pax Jolie-Pitt's accident has garnered significant attention, and while he is reported to be in stable condition, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety, especially when riding high-speed electric bikes. Fans are hopeful for a swift and full recovery for Pax and continue to send their support to the Jolie-Pitt family during this time.
