Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a night to remember at the NFL Honors in New Orleans. Not only did he walk the red carpet with his fiancée, actress Hailee Steinfeld, but he also took home the league’s most prestigious individual award: the AP NFL MVP.

Allen edged out Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson in what turned out to be the closest MVP race since 2016, when Matt Ryan narrowly beat Tom Brady. The Bills’ signal-caller earned 27 first-place votes to Jackson’s 23, finishing with a total of 383 points. His impressive season, which included leading Buffalo to its fifth consecutive AFC East title, cemented his place as one of the league’s elite quarterbacks.

A Season to Remember

It’s been a memorable year both on and off the field for Allen. Back in November, he proposed to Steinfeld, and the couple shared the big moment with their Instagram followers. Their relationship first made headlines in the spring of 2023 when they were spotted dining together in New York City. Since then, Steinfeld has become a regular at Bills home games, supporting Allen throughout the season. The couple even hosted a Halloween party this past fall, solidifying their place as one of the NFL’s favorite power couples.

A Star-Studded Love Story

Steinfeld, 27, has had an impressive career of her own. She first gained fame for her breakout role in the 2010 remake of True Grit, which earned her an Oscar nomination at just 14 years old. Since then, she’s built a strong resume with roles in The Edge of Seventeen, Bumblebee, and Marvel’s Hawkeye, along with voice work in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse films.

Meanwhile, Allen, 28, continues to etch his name into Buffalo Bills history. Since being drafted in the first round in 2018 out of Wyoming, he’s set multiple franchise records for passing and scoring. This season, he led Buffalo all the way to the AFC Championship game, further solidifying his legacy.

With an MVP trophy now in his possession and wedding plans in the works, it’s safe to say Josh Allen has plenty to celebrate. Bills Mafia will no doubt be hoping he adds another trophy to his collection next season—one with a Lombardi on top.
